Bhutan Private Land Packages - Costs & Conditions
- The costs shown below cover all inclusive land packages using 3 star Bhutanese hotels.
- These costs do NOT include airfares which we can arrange for you.
- The costs are in US Dollars & per person, based on the number of people in your party.
Your Bhutan Land Package includes:
- Personal guide & driver with car/SUV or minibus
- All touring & transfers throughout your journey
- Hotel accommodation with private bathrooms
- All meals
- All entrance fees & sightseeing incl Monasteries & Dzongs etc
- Bhutan Government royalties & taxes.
- Bhutan visa fees.
- Professionally operated by Bhutan Tourism Corp Ltd (BTCL).
- When trekking tented campsites replace hotels
- When trekking additional support crew and ponies are included
Please Be Aware Of The Following Pricing Conditions
- Our USD cost is converted to AUD on day of final payment at the IMT rate of exchange from CBA.
- Adults travelling together & requiring a single occupancy room pay a single supplement of USD 30.00 per person per night.
- An overnight trekking surcharge of US$40 per nt applies for groups of less than 3 persons.
- A surcharge applies for credit card payments. 1.5% for Visa/MasterCard & 2.5% for Amex.
- Please combine seasonal charges for mixed season bookings.

In addition to the package costs below a one off extra administration charge of USD $95.00 is payable per person per booking. This fee covers the following services:

Important Advice Re Hotels & Itinerary Changes in Bhutan
Bhutan has a limited tourism infra-structure and there are occasionally challenges in providing accommodation to all visitors offered visas at any one time. Suitable hotel accommodation is very limited in some remote valleys and, on exceptionally rare occasions, a hotel room may not be available as booked. Late reservations, in particular, will often require flexibility and possible re-routing to provide the best possible accommodation options.
Our experience in the past suggests such minor changes have not undermined the rich & rewarding experience offered by this wonderful destination. However we kindly request you factor this possibility in to your planning when considering a visit to Bhutan.
Delayed Arrival/Departure
There is no charge levied should your arrival/departure be delayed due to weather conditions, Drukair delays or roadblocks causing a delay.
Drukair Flight Cancellations
Occasionally Drukair is forced to totally cancel a service for operational reasons, in such an instance any additional costs must be borne by the traveller and claimed via their travel insurance.
Cancellation Charges
- The Drukair air flight component of your tour package will be totally non-refundable once tickets are issued (the Drukair ticketing policy is currently book and buy instant purchase).
- BTCL Land arrangements are subject to the cancellation fees below.
- Luxury hotel arrangements must be cancelled 60 days prior to arrival in Bhutan for no cancellation costs to be levied.

Children’s & Students Rates
- No charge for infants provided accompanied by an adult guardian.
- Children 2 – 11 years, accompanied by adult guardians are offered 50% discount.
- Bona Fide students, aged 24 years or below, who hold a valid identity card from their academic institution, are offered a 25% discount.
Travel Insurance
It is mandatory that you hold a valid travel insurance policy BEFORE you enter Bhutan. There is no insurance cover provided in any packages/tariffs provided by either Bhutan & Beyond or our Bhutanese ground operator BTCL, and we will not be liable for any illness, injury or death sustained during any package or trek.
Payment Procedure and Credit Cards
- A deposit of $1500.00 per person is required to secure a reservation.
- Final balance is due no later than 60 days prior departure.
- Payment by Visa/MasterCard & Amex are welcome however a surcharge of 1.5-2.5% applies.
