Costs & Conditions
The costs shown below are for land arrangements only, using traditional style 2
star plus and 3 star Bhutanese hotels. They do NOT include airfares. The costs
are per person, based on the number of people travelling, and are in US Dollars.
Land packages

A one off
extra charge of USD 75.00 per person is payable.
This fee covers
the following services.
* Visa fees & Visa Processing fee.
* Government Tourism Tax.
* Associated Bank transfer fees.

Our Bhutan packages costs are quoted in US dollars. On the final date
of payment your Bhutan travel costs are converted into Australian
dollars using the current daily rate of exchange.

aware of the following pricing conditions:

All Pricing
is now quoted in USD & will be converted to Australian dollars on
the day of final payment at the current rate of exchange.

Adults travelling
together in even numbers who specify a single room are required to pay a
surcharge of USD 25.00 pp per night.

Credit card payments are
welcome however a surcharge of 1% for Visa/MasterCard; 2% for Amex & 2.65% for
Diners will apply.

Limited (BTCL) Land Packages.
Very
Important Advice Re Hotels & Itinerary Changes in Bhutan.
Bhutan has a limited
tourism infra-structure, which is constantly evolving, and there
are occasionally challenges in providing accommodation to all visitors
offered visa's at one time.
The
current national system used for all tourist visitors is based on
allocating hotel rooms approximately 10 days prior to their arrival in
the Kingdom. During the peak months of March-May and
September-November demand can sometimes necessitate a late minor change
of your prearranged itinerary and/or a change of scheduled hotel in
order to accommodate you satisfactorily.
Our
experience in the past suggests this has rarely caused any major
inconvenience and certainly has not in any way undermined the rich and
rewarding experience offered by this wonderful destination. However we
kindly request you factor this possibility in to your planning when
considering a visit to Bhutan.
Delayed Arrival/Departure
There is no charge levied should your arrival / departure due to weather
conditions, Drukair delays or roadblocks cause a delay.
Cancellation Charges
The
Drukair air flight component of your tour package will be totally non-refundable once
tickets are issued. The Drukair ticketing policy is book and buy. (instant
purchase). Land arrangements are subject to the cancellation fees below.

Children’s & Students Rates
No charge for infants provided accompanied
by an adult guardian. Children
2 – 11
years, accompanied by adult guardians are offered 50% discount. Students under 25 years
of age, who hold a valid identity card from their academic institution,
are offered a 5% discount.
Travel Insurance
It is
mandatory that you hold a valid travel insurance policy BEFORE you enter Bhutan.
There is no insurance cover provided in any packages/tariffs provided by BTCL,
who will not be liable for any illness, injury or death sustained during any
package or trek.
Payment Procedure and Credit
Cards
A deposit of $1,500.00 per
person is required to secure a reservation.
Final Balance is due no later than 50 days prior
departure.
