Delayed Arrival/Departure
There is no charge levied should your arrival / departure due to weather
conditions, Drukair delays or roadblocks cause a delay.
Cancellation Charges
The
Drukair air flight component of your tour package will be totally non-refundable once
tickets are issued. Drukair works on a book and but policy (instant purchase).
BTCL Land arrangements are subject
to the cancellation fees below.

| Within 21 days of departure | 45% of package costs |
| Within 14 days of departure | 60% of package costs |
| Within 7 days of departure | 80% of package costs |
| Inside 7 days | 90% of package costs |
| After departure | No refund. |
Children’s & Students Rates
No charge for infants provided accompanied
by an adult guardian. Children
2 – 11
years, accompanied by adult guardians are offered 50% discount. Students under 25 years
of age, who hold a valid identity card from their academic institution,
are offered a 5% discount.
Travel Insurance
It is
mandatory that you hold a valid travel insurance policy BEFORE you enter Bhutan.
There is no insurance cover provided in any packages/tariffs provided by BTCL,
who will not be liable for any illness, injury or death sustained during any
package or trek.
Payment Procedure and Credit
Cards
A deposit of A$2,00.00 per
person is required to secure a reservation.
Final payment is due no later than 50 days prior
departure. On this day your US dollar costs will be converted into Australian
dollars using the current daily rate of exchange.
*However if you wish to pay for your travel prior to this to lock in a more
favorable exchange rate please advise on the morning you wish to pay and all
arrangements for the payment can be made immediately to guarantee the daily
exchange rate.
